Maximalist Revolution

The Maximalists were a Russian political party leading up to and during the 1917 Russian Revolution, when many sided with the Russian Communist Party. Also known as the Union of Socialists-Revolutionaries Maximalists, they campaigned for the “maximum programme,” or socialization of all land and means of production to the highest degree possible.
