Laura Leibman, Jews Across the Americas [pdf or word doc] (Reed College, Spring 2023). This courses was taught as an American studies research and methods and digital humanities class. The assignments include number of the interactivities on the website. Because it was cross-listed as and English class, the sourcebook was supplemented with literary selections.
Simplified Semester Syllabus (12 weeks), Jewish American Studies or Jewish American History [pdf, google doc]. This syllabus moves largely by era through the sourcebook, but groups readings for each day by theme. Short papers can be assigned when convenient throughout the semester and/or a final project can be either a digital exhibit or research paper on a Jewish community in an American city. Here is a list of possible cities that are well represented in the collection and/or the online archive. I typically add the city in which I am teaching and 1-2 others nearby. If you choose to assign a digital exhibit, you may find it useful to scaffold the project by assigning other aspects of creating an exhibit earlier in the semester.
