Ashkenazi-centric

This refers to an approach to Jewish history and culture which has historically been dominated by attention towards the Ashkenazi, or the Jewish communities of Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. Also referred to as Ashkenormativity, it sometimes precludes attention to other Jewish groups.
