Den Pobedi – Victory Day

 “Den Pobedi” is a Russian song commemorating the Soviet victory in the Second World War, composed for its thirtieth anniversary in 1975 by Vladimir Kharitonov and David Tukhmanov. Despite early criticisms of being to “bourgeois” and frivolous, it has become a staple of Soviet, and later Russian, Victory Day celebrations and parades.
