An adjective referring to the Georgian period in British history, which spanned from 1714 to 1837, or the reigns of Kings George I, George II, George III, and George IV. It is commonly used to describe cultural and historical products of the time, such as architecture, literature, and political events. Georgian architecture was characterized by symmetry and elements of classical revival.
