Jewish Colonization Association

Founded in 1891 by Baron Maurice de Hirsch, the JCA aimed to resettle Jewish populations from Eastern Europe to the Americas and the then Ottoman-controlled Palestine. Still active today as the Jewish Charitable Association, it now works to promote agriculture, education, and tourism in Israel.
